Personal Style Icon: Angela Montenegro of Bones

If you know me, you probably are aware that Bones is my favorite show of all time (besides WNTW, of course). One of the many reasons why I am so totally in love with this show is the wardrobe of sketch artist Angela Montenegro (played by hottie Michaela Conlin).
I don't know how the wardrobe people do it, but they always manage to make this free spirit look both bohemian and high-class-- a look I am trying to copy on the cheap.
Even in the middle of the desert she looks fantastic!Leggings and boots are a cornerstone of her effortlessly chic look, especially when paired with flowy tunics, structured jackets, and long, layered necklaces. The only thing cuter than Angela's wardrobe? Dr. Lance Sweets (played by John Daley)! I wouldn't mind jumping his... uhh, Bones.

I love her style too! I actually stumbled upon your site trying to find her boots from a recent episode.

I'm looking for ALL of her boots; particularly the pair she's wearing first appearance in the "Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood"...having her legs would be helpful.

Does anyone know where I could buy a pair of those fantastic boots?

Target actually has great boots for cheap, so I'd advise you to check there!

Boden has some great boots in different lengths. May not be Angela's exact ones, but you'll find a counterpart to the same effect. Sundance also sells great boots. Finally, I really like ModCloth, Urban Outfitters, and Anthropologie for looking for the Angela Montenegro look! :)

I just started watching Bones on Netflix, and I love Angela's and Bones's clothes, especially tops, and jewelry. Thanks for the tip, Marica, on where to look for their styles.
