July 31st
Dress- Anthro
Boots- DSW
feather hairpin- Icing by Claire's (surprisingly hip!)
belt- F21
Bangles (not really descernable)- the Limited
Today I was feeling kind of bohemian, so I decided on a floaty Anthropologie dress (that I got for $18 thanks to two birthday giftcards!) and a pair of boots I bought recently. Because I had Boston's icy winters in mind when I initially got the boots I was hesitant to wear them on a humid southern summer day; however, I'm happy to report that they worked out very nicely!

If you're in the DC area this weekend...
July 30th
Black Jeans from Nordstrom
Top from Express
Vest from F21
Shoes from H&M
Watch from Brighton
Cuff probably from Hot Topic
After two bedridden days, I decided I had recovered enough from the Plague to make an appearance at the office. This summer I'm interning at the Newton Marasco Foundation (http://www.newtonmarascofoundation.org/), an environmental foundation dedicated to educating local students on how to protect the Earth.
The dress code is very laid back so I can wear pretty much whatever, but I know the value of dressing for the job you want, not the job you have (although the job I have is pretty sweet!).

I want everything on ModCloth
My cousin Alyssa and I were talking the other day about how obsessed we are with ModCloth. My favorite piece of the moment is this stunning number, called the Andes Dress (under dresses). Maybe I'll have to buy it for myself as a 20th birthday present. After all, it's only a week and a half away!

Fashion Faux Pas of my Past
Cute navy Uggs (ugh!) in size wayyy too big. At least my aunt and uncle's dog Pompeii looks cute.
Reppin DC (and my high school track team t-shirt. Be thankful the picture is cropped where it is)
With my cousin and my puppy up on long island (all three of us look better now, I promise!)
This was on a family trip to Sedona, AZ. I like to think I was wearing my sweatshirt like that to prevent an entirely navy blue ensemble, but I was probably just too lazy to put it on all the way.
And yes, I am a natural blonde!!
Hi!
Hey guys. Everybody and their mom is making a style blog these days and I've always wanted one of my own... so I decided to make one! No time is better than the present, right?
Anyways, with the help of my gorgeous friend Sylvia, hopefully I will make this into an awesome blog that people actually want to read.
If you have any advice for a virgin blogger, comment or email me with any tips you may have! I would appreciate any help I can get.

P.S. Check out my freakishly perfect pearly whites in this photo!! And it only took 2 sets of braces, 3 surgeries, 6 retainers, and a mouthguard.
